California Licensed Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join their Information Technology Services Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze information security practices to ensure alignment with industry standards
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches detected by security solutions
• Create and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures related to information security

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• A minimum of eight years of professional-level IT experience, with at least three years in information security in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
• Experience with monitoring and responding to security incidents using SIEM tools
• CISSP or CISM certification is a plus
