California Licensed Senior CDM Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Charge Description Master Specialist - Charge.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Chargemaster consistency with coding and billing regulations and represent services accurately
• Act as a liaison between the Hospital ministry and the Revenue Integrity/Chargemaster Department, addressing inquiries and maintenance requests
• Train Hospital ministry staff on CDM processes, coding updates, and charge capture improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Sciences, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of Hospital chargemaster experience, including knowledge of CDM Maintenance software
• 3 years of operational performance improvement and/or project management experience
• 5 years of experience with Hospital EMR related to Chargemaster, preferably Epic EAP
• 3 years of experience with CDM Maintenance tools/software such as Craneware, Vitalware, or nThrive
