Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter - Level 3.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate consumer home loan applications to assess Borrower's creditworthiness
• Validate loan applications and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Approve or deny loans and maintain accurate system documentation and integrity

Required Qualifications

• Recent underwriting experience in the mortgage industry is essential
• Thorough understanding of state and federal regulations, including HMDA and Regulation Z
• Experience with loan origination systems and automated underwriting systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Working knowledge of loan program products and services
