California Licensed Transmission Line Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Transmission Line Drafter and/or Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare layout and design of transmission line systems using AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, O-Calc, or SPIDA Calc
• Generate structure schedules, stringing charts, and material take-offs as needed
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment to meet project scope, schedule, and budget

Required Qualifications

• Associates in drafting/design or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience drafting/designing bulk power transmission lines
• Advanced proficiency using AutoCAD
• Intermediate proficiency using PLS-CADD, SPIDAcalc, and/or O-calc Pro
• Basic understanding of NESC, GO 95 (California), or similar standards
