Cryptographic Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cryptographic Engineer specializing in Bitcoin DeFi.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cryptographic constructions and maintain cryptographic libraries
• Translate academic research into production-ready systems and participate in cryptographic design discussions
• Troubleshoot and optimize cryptographic code while ensuring security and performance

Required Qualifications

• Typically a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience in applied cryptographic engineering and academic publications
• Proficiency in Rust and ideally some Haskell for cryptographic development
• Solid mathematical foundation in cryptography, number theory, and probability
• Experience with elliptic curve cryptography and cryptographic protocol design
