Category Management Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Category Management & Strategic Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals and identify cost savings opportunities
• Manage vendor lifecycle, including performance assessment and compliance with contract terms

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience; advanced degree preferred
• Category management experience in IT categories such as Hardware, Software, and Cloud
• Experience with vendor lifecycle management and contracting principles
• Experience writing and supporting Requests for Information and Proposals
• Experience interpreting and negotiating complex IT contracts
