Certified Coding Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes requests to determine coding quality issues and shares results with relevant teams
• Assists the CDI team in resolving documentation inconsistencies and educates on coding changes
• Conducts coding reviews related to potential lost revenue and identifies training needs for coders

Required Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS certifications or a combination is required
• Minimum of five (5) years of inpatient coding experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of coding auditing experience
• Ability to review complex medical records
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
