Senior Stop Loss Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Stop Loss Underwriter who will independently underwrite complex group insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and guidance to lower-level group underwriters
• Evaluate risk for complex group insurance products and ensure proper pricing and funding methods
• Contribute to division profitability through client profitability analysis and participate in product development

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4-6 years of Stop Loss underwriting experience
• PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
