Certified Interventional Radiology Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist, Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical record documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Perform ongoing analysis of coding compliance and documentation accuracy
• Assist with audits and provide feedback on coding discrepancies and deficiencies

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CIRCC and/or CPC certification required
• At least one (1) year of medical billing experience preferred
• Must obtain CIRCC certification within 12 months if not currently certified
• Minimum of 5 years of coding experience in interventional radiology procedures is acceptable in lieu of certification
