Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Patient Statement Process, including inbound calls and patient inquiries
- Collect unpaid balances and process financial transactions
- Maintain communication with Team Leaders and ensure timely completion of assigned reports
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience required; 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD codes
- CPAR certification preferred
- Experience with Epic or eClinicalWorks preferred
