Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Enterprise Coder Virtual.

Key Responsibilities

• Review physician documentation and assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for services rendered
• Edit and review captured charges and medical documentation, ensuring accurate coding and data entry in EMR
• Communicate discrepancies in documentation and assist with coding questions from team members and supervisors

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in physician-based coding for E&M and surgical procedures
• Substantial knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and modifiers
• Certification as a CPC, CPC-A, CCS-P, CCA, RHIT, or CBCS
• Knowledge of Microsoft software
