CIO Advisor - Medicare Advantage

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CIO Advisor - Medicare Advantage (Healthcare Payer) to provide strategic guidance on technology leadership and modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CIO on IT strategy, portfolio planning, and enterprise architecture
• Provide insights on payer innovation, including value-based care and digital member engagement
• Assess the current IT landscape and guide modernization efforts for improved agility and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years in healthcare payer IT leadership with significant Medicare Advantage experience
• Former CIO/CTO or Partner-level experience at a Big 4 or healthcare consultancy
• Proven track record with regional or mid-sized payers
• Expertise in enrollment, claims, care management, and compliance
• Deep understanding of CMS mandates and health equity expectations
