Cloud Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Cloud Database Administrator to support the US Department of Treasury's enterprise cloud development effort.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions using AWS, OCI, and GCP services
• Administer and tune various databases, including Oracle Autonomous DB, MySQL HeatWave, and Cloud Spanner
• Lead migrations and optimize database performance while ensuring data integrity across distributed systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Proven experience as a DBA with expertise in Oracle and Postgres databases
• Experience with AWS database services, including Aurora, RDS, and Redshift
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python and Shell
