Key Responsibilities
- Monitor outstanding account balances and determine next steps in the collection process
- Follow up on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
- Generate appropriate paperwork and respond to inquiries from patients and payors
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Computer proficiency and experience in windows-based technologies
- Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly
- Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership
