Claims Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims & Collections / AR Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform follow-up on outstanding insurance claims across multiple payer types
• Review and resolve claim denials using payer portals and billing systems
• Monitor aging reports and document all actions taken on accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare A/R experience required
• Proven success in resolving complex denials and underpayments
• Strong working knowledge of insurance billing regulations and coding
• Proficiency in EHR and billing systems such as Epic or Cerner
