Job Summary
A company is looking for a Configuration Systems Analyst II to lead and define system requirements for Member Benefits and Provider Reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and document open issues while analyzing data to address gaps within the department
- Plan and implement new software releases, including testing and training, while serving as a liaison between IT and business areas
- Audit configuration for accuracy and develop strategies for improving system efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of health plan experience, including two (2) years in configuration or clinical editing software
- Exposure to Facets is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA Transaction Codes and reimbursement methods such as DRG and APC
- Certified Medical Coder (CPC) is preferred
