Senior VTAM Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior VTAM Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Connect:Direct (NDM), MSM, and InterTest Batch utilizing SMP/E
• Support and diagnose AT-TLS configurations and troubleshoot network connection issues
• Design and develop utilities (REXX) to streamline processes and support a redundant TCPIP network

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience with z/OS mainframe communications
• 7+ years of experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols
• 7+ years of experience configuring and managing secure data transmissions with firewalls and VPNs
• 7+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, and network monitoring tools
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
