Job Summary
A company is looking for a Controller to lead the corporate Finance Department and manage financial operations in a federal-government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, billing, and job cost accounting
- Manage monthly financial close and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP, FAR, and CAS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with 5 years in a managerial role
- Proficiency in GAAP, FAR, CAS, and indirect-rate structures
- Experience with government business proposals and pricing regulations
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
