Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead the corporate Finance Department and manage financial operations in a federal-government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, payroll, AP/AR, billing, and job cost accounting
• Manage monthly financial close and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP, FAR, and CAS

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with 5 years in a managerial role
• Proficiency in GAAP, FAR, CAS, and indirect-rate structures
• Experience with government business proposals and pricing regulations
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
