Virginia Licensed Financial Services Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Services Technician Sr. (BO/SDU).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process financial transactions and associated records for compliance with GAAP and other regulations
• Assist with processing Unidentified Payments, Unclaimed Property, and Returned Checks
• Promote MY CHILD SUPPORT automation and provide support to various divisions within the agency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and enter fiscal transactions
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant policies
• Experience with automated financial/accounting systems
• Considerable experience in reconciliation and government accounting
• Experience in a Child Support Enforcement or government agency with financial reporting knowledge
