Corporate Compliance Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of M&A, Transactions and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership and the board on corporate legal and regulatory matters
• Lead legal support for M&A and corporate transactions, including due diligence and negotiations
• Develop and maintain legal compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
• 8-10 years of relevant legal experience with a large law firm
• Substantive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance
• Significant prior experience in complex corporate transactions
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
