Corrections Advisor Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corrections Advisor to provide training and mentorship in post-release monitoring and probation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert instruction in classroom and field settings, including assessments of post-release monitoring plans
• Coordinate with program staff to ensure effective training delivery and manage all aspects of course and classroom management
• Advise on best practices for corrections intelligence programs and assist in developing strategies for managing high-risk offenders

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a prison or correctional setting, specifically in intelligence
• Minimum 5 years of experience directly related to the subject matter being taught
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an instructor
• Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in an international setting
• Must possess a valid passport and be in good physical condition for training in various environments
