Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead its finance function in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly close process and ensure accurate consolidated financial reporting
• Direct Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Tax functions for compliance and efficiency
• Lead and mentor a finance team while optimizing financial systems and processes

Required Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred or equivalent professional designation in-progress
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, payroll regulations, and tax compliance in the U.S. and Canada
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems, with a focus on process improvements
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor a team
