CPC-A Certified Charge Poster

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Poster, CPC-A Preferred, for a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of professional charges into the Practice Management Billing System accurately and efficiently
• Review charge tickets and EHR for missing or inaccurate information and coordinate corrections with coding staff
• Identify and correct missing or invalid visits/charges prior to posting into the billing system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred certifications include CPC and/or CCS-P
• Experience with Allscripts EHR/PM systems is preferred
• Minimum of two years of progressive medical billing office experience, including charge entry
