Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Billing Specialist II to perform billing and accounts receivable functions for Retail/Specialist Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and reconcile patient account receivables and revenue cycle functions
• Oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timely reimbursement of invoices
• Facilitate correspondence with insurance payers and troubleshoot payment processing issues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of related experience in accounting and billing functions in a pharmacy environment
• Knowledge of billing codes and formal documents necessary for billing
• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy terminology and basic accounting functions
• General knowledge of spreadsheets and billing software
