Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Policy Specialist responsible for developing and maintaining credit guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and revise lending technical documentation and policies
• Conduct analysis of credit policies and make recommendations on underwriting strategies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal inquiries related to credit exceptions and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
• Deep knowledge of agency, government, Non-QM, and Jumbo loan products
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
