Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service through various channels, maintaining ownership of member resolutions
- Educate members on benefit plans and healthcare resources, guiding them through their healthcare journey
- Resolve member complaints and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines during all interactions
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry with direct member contact
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Preferred: 1+ year of telephonic verification of medical benefits and 2+ years in a benefits-focused role
- Preferred: Exposure to medical claims, including ICD-9/10 and CPT coding
