A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide support in a remote administrative role.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming billing customer service calls
- Provide optimum customer service and manage high-volume incoming communications from patients
- Update patient account information and accurately document all actions taken
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of health plan benefits and eligibility verification
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain EOBs and patient responsibilities
- Education in medical billing or certification in medical billing preferred
- Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus
