Texas Referral Management Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Referral Management Coordinator to maintain high standards for quality and patient experience while processing referral requests and authorizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and complete assigned patient referrals while meeting production requirements
• Obtain authorizations for specialist referrals and schedule appointments accordingly
• Communicate with stakeholders, payors, employers, and patients to ensure a positive experience

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree preferred
• At least one year of experience in a medical environment related to service delivery
• Experience with Worker's Compensation preferred
• Proficiency with scheduling and insurance verification software
• Must be a Texas resident and able to travel to a local Texas location for orientation
