Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Professional to support Department of Defense cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across enterprise systems and networks
• Support the application and maintenance of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for system compliance
• Perform vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation activities with system administrators and engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and their application to DoD systems
• Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
