Data Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, scale, and maintain data pipelines from various source systems according to business and technical requirements
• Improve the codebase and actively participate in all aspects of the team, including agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues as they occur

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of applied experience in Data Engineering, including building Data Pipelines and Data Modeling
• Programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL
• Experience with Data Warehousing and a variety of data sources such as APIs and real-time feeds
• Experience with AWS data management tools and processing large datasets
