Machine Learning Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Machine Learning Scientist II/Sr (Biomedical Images).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and integrate pretrained computer vision models into existing modalities
• Curate clinical imaging datasets and establish benchmarks for model performance
• Build data pipelines for large image collections and convert research prototypes into production services

Required Qualifications

• PhD with 3+ years (or MS with 5+ years) of industry experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with deep learning for images, including self-supervised pre-training and Vision Transformers
• Hands-on experience with large medical imaging datasets and evaluation tasks
• Proficiency in PyTorch or JAX and experience with distributed training on GPUs or cloud HPC resources
• Strong software engineering habits including version control and testing
