Data Scientist (Healthcare)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Scientist in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define measurable use cases and explore data from various healthcare sources
• Build and evaluate models using various statistical and machine learning techniques, and productionize models with data and MLOps teams
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and contribute to LLM initiatives while translating findings into actionable insights

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of hands-on data science experience, preferably in healthcare or health insurance
• Strong skills in tabular data handling and manipulation
• Proficient in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python or R)
• Experience with Big Data tools and cloud/ML platforms such as Databricks or Azure ML
• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
