Job Summary

A company is looking for a Deputy Editor for Future Perfect.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and edit three staff writers, including soliciting ideas and selecting stories
• Edit the biweekly newsletter on Processing Meat
• Assist the editorial director in setting priorities and lead the staff in their absence

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in editing or equivalent
• Strong managerial philosophy and communication skills
• Passion for mentoring and managing writers
• Ability to bring analysis and sharp angles to news stories
• Experience in research literature across various disciplines is desirable
