Derivatives Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Derivatives Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare derivatives disclosures for financial statements on a GAAP & Statutory basis
• Assist with journal entries and reconciliations related to derivative accounting
• Support management in implementing new accounting pronouncements and tracking hedged items

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a public or private company environment preferred
• Working knowledge of GAAP or Statutory accounting and reporting preferred
• Previous experience with derivatives is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Access) required
