Design Drafter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Drafter to create drawing packages for utility customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Create layouts, elevations, plan views, and cable schedules based on project scope
• Revise existing drawings for retrofitting new equipment and manage project documentation
• Provide drafting support during peak load times and communicate with clients regarding drawing ownership

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• Extensive direct technical experience in a similar field
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Suite and reading physical drawings
• Ability to create layouts, elevations, and plan views based on equipment orientation
• Extensive knowledge of structures and assembly drawings
