Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Applied Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of applied scientists and research engineers
• Oversee the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models for AI products
• Drive the strategic roadmap for AI-powered compliance solutions and manage cross-functional collaboration

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in developing and deploying commercial AI/NLP systems
• 5+ years of experience managing and scaling research teams
• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, NLP, or a related field
• Extensive experience with LLMs and AWS-based ML infrastructure
• Proven success in delivering ML-based features in complex enterprise environments
