Director of Consumer Bank Risk Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Consumer Bank Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned Front Line Units and support compliance and risk management
• Lead risk & control self-assessments, analyze results, and suggest actions to mitigate identified risks
• Collaborate with business units to develop risk metrics and manage regulatory exam preparation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
• At least 5 years of Risk or Audit-related experience in financial institutions
• At least 8 years of experience within the financial services industry
• CRCM designation desired, but not required
• Broad knowledge of compliance and operational risk, regulatory expectations, and bank best practices
