Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to underwrite a full range of mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with investor and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite mortgage loans in accordance with investor and government guidelines
• Review loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Provide training and mentorship to new and existing underwriters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in finance or business preferred
• Extensive knowledge of mortgage processing and investor guidelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage loan origination systems
• Experience in training and mentoring other team members
