Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Global Intellectual Property.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global IP team, driving strategic IP management
• Ensure freedom to operate in newly developed solar technologies and protect new inventions
• Oversee patent portfolio management and collaborate with R&D teams on invention disclosures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Technology (Advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in industrial IP management, focusing on patents
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a technical or IP/legal field
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a global company, coordinating international teams
• Deep understanding of patent law and experience with global patent filing strategies
