A company is looking for a Documentation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and generate electronic forms requesting patient documents from physicians
- Collect and manage patient eligibility documents and contact necessary parties for documentation
- Analyze documentation for billing services and ensure compliance with payer requirements
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- Two (2) years of work-related experience for senior level, including one (1) year of exact job experience
- Experience in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment is preferred
