Drug Safety Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Drug Safety Associate (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Process and assess serious adverse events (SAEs) in the Argus database, including query generation and narrative writing
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper collection and handling of safety data
• Train new safety staff on Argus and case processing, and perform SAE reconciliation as required

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in Nursing, Pharmacy, or related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience; or MS/MA with 5 years; or PhD with 0 years; or equivalent combination
• Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry and/or oncology preferred
• Experience using the Argus safety database preferred
• Clinical trial and spontaneous adverse event processing experience
• May require certification in the assigned area
