EDI Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EDI Specialist to analyze, troubleshoot, and support data interchanges and related processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support existing data interchanges, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange
• Analyze data and create effective EDI mapping documents for existing and new data interchanges
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and correct data errors and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 2-3 years of EDI experience in a health plan or managed care
• 2+ years of experience in a remote working environment
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
• Demonstrated experience with data sets and formats such as ANSI files: X12, HL7, and FHIR standards
• Hands-on experience implementing 834 & 837 files for a health plan
