Embedded Cyber Software Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Embedded Cyber Software Developer to support cybersecurity initiatives in embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, sign, and configure custom boot loaders and manage Secure Boot integration efforts
• Perform recovery testing and validation of secure boot and firmware recovery mechanisms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security features and provide training and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in secure boot loader development and firmware security
• Strong knowledge of encryption, hashing algorithms, and hardware root of trust concepts
• Experience with PolarFire FPGA firmware services or similar hardware security platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and Bash for automation tasks
