Emergency Food Assistance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Emergency Food Assistance Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and deliver emergency food assistance and recovery programs in response to disasters
• Provide technical support and oversight for high-quality programming addressing the needs of vulnerable groups
• Coordinate with team members to ensure an effective and integrated response to food assistance needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' humanitarian aid experience, with at least 4 years in Emergency Food Assistance roles
• Relevant professional qualification or post-graduate degree in nutrition, food security, agriculture, or related fields
• Demonstrated expertise in food security and nutrition interventions in humanitarian contexts
• Competence in gender analysis and developing gender-sensitive programming strategies
• Ability to prepare concept papers and project proposals in accordance with required standards
