EIP is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Associate to join our Strategic Partnerships team, based in our NYC HQ. This individual will play a critical role in supporting high-value accounts and building the internal infrastructure necessary to deliver measurable value to our strategic partners. This position reports directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to learn more about strategic account management at an investment firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partner Support & Account Management
- Provide project management support for the Strategic Partnerships team
- Provide direct account management support for the Strategic Partnerships team
- Support VPs in maintaining and growing relationships with a portfolio of strategic partners
- Prepare briefing materials, dashboards, and updates for internal and external meetings
- Help track and follow up on action items, deliverables, and strategic initiatives
- In collaboration with the Events & Operations team, provide project management support for all LP events annually
- Systems & Infrastructure Development
- Own and optimize internal systems (CRM, Totango, Notion, etc.) to manage partner data, workflows, and communications
- Help define and manage account KPIs to ensure we’re adding strategic value
- Help build and maintain internal tracking mechanisms to monitor KPIs, engagement, account health, etc.
- Help design scalable, repeatable processes for partner onboarding and management
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve account management systems
- 1-4 years of experience in high-performance environments such as startups (business operations), consulting, finance or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Strong interest in account management and/or organizational operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Skilled at designing and maintaining operational systems in complex, relationship-driven organizations
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and with external stakeholders
- Self-driven, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to deliver premier customer experience with comfort around senior executives
- Proven ability to manage and build operational systems and workflows using tools like a CRM, Notion, Excel, etc.
- Highly dedicated and willing to go the extra mile (outside regular office hours if necessary)
- A demonstrated interest in climate tech, energy, or sustainability is a strong plus.
The base compensation for this position is $100,000. Final base salary compensation will be determined at time of offer and will be based off a combination of years of experience, skills, education, and applicable licenses/certifications.
