Job Summary In this role, you will imagine, expand, trial, and test novel ideas, proselytize victories, and drive consistency. As a free Information Researcher, you will source, purge, analyze, refine, improve, model, present, automate, and document our business information pipelines. You will constantly be on the lookout for ways to upgrade the data stream process, stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data warehousing, and have the ability to prioritize and work on multiple, related projects. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with specialists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and offer scientific support. Utilize code to investigate complex datasets and design, create, and evaluate data transformations to solve explicit business issues. Build flexible, efficient, and automated data cycles to facilitate client-facing reporting. Automate TA cycles to streamline business operations. Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients/initiative to share insights and recommendations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science. 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.). 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and methods, and parameters that influence their performance. Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science. Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company.
