FHIR Interoperability Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FHIR Interoperability Expert to design, develop, and implement FHIR-based systems for healthcare data exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop FHIR-based APIs for integration with government, payer, and EHR systems
• Implement secure FHIR APIs and map legacy data formats to FHIR standards
• Collaborate with clinical teams and troubleshoot FHIR implementations for performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with at least 3 years focused on FHIR implementation
• Proven track record of integrating EHR systems using FHIR APIs
• Experience with FHIR API development and familiarity with healthcare regulations
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
