Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Underwriter - Intermediate Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect information and clarify group health application details with relevant parties
• Perform risk appraisals and evaluate group health insurance prospects and renewals
• Calculate and negotiate rates and premium charges for group health insurance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in Stop Loss Underwriting, Financial Underwriting, Actuarial, or Financial Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience in underwriting guidelines maintenance and providing underwriting expertise
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
