FIPS 140 Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FIPS 140 Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on varied FIPS 140 validation projects and conduct general security analysis
• Perform vulnerability testing, physical security testing, and product evaluations against Technology Type standards
• Develop applications to support test cases and automate testing through scripting

Required Qualifications

• BS degree with 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Cryptographic Validation Program (CVP) or CMVP Certification
• Knowledge of cryptographic encryption algorithms and PKI
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with network setup and common security-related protocols
