FSA Capital Planning Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Capital Planning Actuary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead semi-annual calculation and analysis of Economic Solvency Ratio (ESR) and Japan Insurance Capital Standard (J-ICS)
• Partner with Accounting for annual Japan Aggregation Method (J-AM) calculations and analysis
• Manage and mentor a team of actuarial students, supporting their professional development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
• 8+ years of experience in the life insurance industry preferred
• Experience with capital planning, financial modeling, or strategic finance is a plus
